Step 6: Meet with Primary Test Administrator
If two test administrators are assigned to a school, only the primary test administrator is expected to meet with the school contact to prepare the assessment in the school.
Test administrators (TAs) have the following responsibilities:
- communicate with the school contact to confirm the assessment date and set up a pre-assessment meeting (both TAs);
- meet with the school contact to prepare for assessment day (primary TA only);
- prepare the room and devices on assessment day (both TAs);
- administer the assessment and makeup session (if required) (one or both TAs based on group size);
- complete all the test administration forms (each TA completes the forms for their group); and
- return the completed forms and loan laptops (if applicable) to CMEC (both TAs).
The pre-assessment meeting, should take place at least two weeks prior to the assessment date. The checklist below provides information on the items that must be discussed between the school contact and the test administrator, as well as tasks to be completed, during the pre-assessment meeting.
