Assessment Lock Plus for Chromebooks

School-Managed Chromebooks


Please note:
The following instructions are applicable only to schools that currently have Chrome Management Console enabled and have Chromebooks enrolled as devices.  

Step 1: Access Managed Guest Session 

  1. Log in to your Google Chrome Management console. 
  2. Click on “Devices.” 
  3. Click on “Apps & extensions” under the Chrome tab to your left.

Step 2: Choose Organizational Unit  

  1. Select the correct organizational unit that you want to apply the change to.
  2. Click on “Managed guest sessions.”

 

Step 3: Add Extension  

  1. Click on the yellow + button on the bottom right corner.
  2. Select “Add Chrome app” or “extension by ID.”

  3. Enter the following extension ID:
    objafjdlhkpglojmhplfeijpojcepoah

Step 4: Confirm Installation  

  1. The application should now appear in your console.
  2. Ensure it is set to Force install.

Step 1: Find and Install the Extension  

  1. Search for “Assessment Lock Plus”.
  2. On the extension page, click Add to Chrome.

  3. Click Add extension in the confirmation dialog box.
