The PCAP administration will take place between March 30 and May 1, 2026.
- Select and enter the first date on which the assessment will be administered at the school.
- Enter a second assessment date, to be used in the event that a makeup session is necessary or multiple assessment sessions are required.
Note: If more than two sessions are required at the school, CMEC does not need to be informed of further assessment session dates.
- Indicate every date for which the school will be closed during the PCAP administration window.
The PCAP takes approximately three hours to administer.

When selecting the assessment date, please note the following:
- All three parts [(Part 1 (cognitive), Part 2 (cognitive), and Part 3 (Student Questionnaire)] are recommended to be administered to students on the same day, with a short break in between, as indicated in the timetable above. If required, Part 3 (Student Questionnaire) may be administered after lunch or on the next day.
- If more than one class is selected to participate in PCAP in your school, or if you do not have enough devices to assess all the students in one session, the school will have to schedule multiple sessions (preferably on consecutive school days).
- If the student participation rate is below 85 percent, a makeup session will be necessary. To determine if a makeup session is needed, complete the online Student Tracking Form. Please aim to schedule the makeup for the day following the last planned session.
