F. Select Preferred Assessment Date(s)
The TIMSS assessment administration will take place between March 9 and April 17, 2026.
- Select and enter the first date on which the assessment will be administered at the school.
- Note: Both the cognitive test and the Student Questionnaire must be administered to students on the same day, with a short break in between, as indicated in the timetable below. If required, the Student Questionnaire may be administered in the afternoon after lunch. Further, if more than one class is selected to participate in the assessment in your school, or if you do not have enough devices to test all the students in one session, the school will have to schedule multiple assessment sessions (preferably on consecutive school days).
- Enter the makeup session assessment date, to be used in the event that the student participation rate in TIMSS is below 90 percent.
- Indicate every date for which no staff will be present at the school, to ensure that materials are not sent when the school is closed.
The TIMSS assessment takes approximately three hours to administer.
