Step 2: Install the LockDown Environment

To participate in PCAP, you are required to install the LockDown Environment on all the electronic devices to be used for PCAP at your school. The LockDown Environment restricts students to only accessing specific sites and functions (which are permitted for the assessment), while blocking access to all other browsers and functions.  

All compatible devices are listed below; please select the device type you are using in order to be directed to the appropriate instructions.

Note: Once you click to install the LockDown Environment, a warning message from your virus protection program may pop up indicating that the program is from an unknown source. The installation is for the LockDown Environment alone and is safe to install. You may click “Run Anyway” to proceed.
