Alternative formats

Alternative formats can be provided for selected students if, and only if, the students receive such accommodations in assessment situations during their regular school program. Four alternative formats are available for the assessment: audio, coloured background, dyslexia font, and large print. To request one of the alternative formats, record the corresponding code on the Student Identification Form for each student requiring an alternative format:

• Code A – audio
• Code C – coloured background
• Code D – dyslexia font
• Code L – large print

Note: If a student requires a coloured background (Code C), indicate the colour of the required background in the next column (e.g., Code C – Blue).

If you have already submitted the Student Identification Form but now need to request an alternative format, please contact CMEC at pcap-ppce@cmec.ca at least two weeks prior to your selected assessment date.
