General Information about PCAP
The PCAP 2016 Assessment Framework delineates the conceptual framework of the reading, mathematics, and science components of PCAP. It is informed by the curriculum objectives, goals, and outcomes of the participating jurisdictions and reflects current research findings and best practices in the field of reading, mathematics, and science. It also presents an overview of the type of information gathered from questionnaires (student, teacher, and school) to capture contextual data.
The information brochure provides an overview of the PCAP programs for students participating in the PCAP program and their parents.
PCAP is a triennial assessment that is administered over four weeks in the spring. Prior to the assessment and during the assessment window, information about the administration of PCAP is available for schools.
