Volume III, along with volumes I and II, provides the initial results from OECD’s PISA 2018. PISA is a triennial survey of the knowledge and skills of 15-year-olds near the end of their compulsory schooling. The major focus of the 2018 assessment was reading, with a secondary focus on mathematics and science. Volume III focuses on the physical and emotional health of students, the role of teachers and parents in shaping the school climate, and the social life at school. This volume also examines indicators of student well-being, and how these are related to the school climate.
