Requests for Proposal (RFP)

Call for proposals for strategies to support high school students' engagement in FSL programs

The proposed project aims to create practical, targeted resources for teachers that have been approved by provincial and territorial ministries of education, thereby strengthening their credibility with teachers. Unlike many existing initiatives that combine elementary and secondary levels, these resources will be designed specifically for secondary education, so that teachers can better identify with them and find approaches that are tailored to their realities. Their development will be overseen by a working group, organized by the service provider and composed of teachers from across Canada, ensuring that the content is relevant and easy to use.

Call for proposals for a self-directed training program on acquiring and teaching reading and writing strategies in French-speaking minority communities in Canada (grades 4 to 12)

The members of the French as a First Language Consortium Committee (FFLCC) wish to develop a self-directed learning program for grades 4 through 12. This project would take into account the specific characteristics that support the learning, teaching, and assessment of reading and writing in a pan-Canadian minority language context by incorporating current and rigorous research on innovative and inclusive approaches to literacy.
